 first i was going to go with a white background but it looked unfinished, so i tried the gradiant, i hope it came out right flowers are hard for me to color, but i gave it a good try i loved doing the hair, it was really fun other version here  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Sometimes flat white backgrounds can be very effective but in this the grad is more interesting(without being distracting)
You've hit a good level of detail on the flowers. It would be easy to over render them and pull focus off the figure.
Nice palette too!
